Matching Maple Cabinet

The before and after really says it all! This client was pressed for space and had an old cabinet that had never even been attached to the wall! This led to all sorts of spills and lost things falling between the cabinet and the wall. The old cabinet didn’t function well, the low-end hardware was on it’s last leg and the particle board cabinet had one foot in the grave. However, the client really liked the layout of the cabinet, so after multiple 3D iterations we decided to stick with the layout that they were used to but make it better than ever. We increased the drawer sized as much as possible while remaining faithful to the original layout, upgraded to top of the line Blum drawer slides and finished it with the best paint you can buy. The biggest upgrade with the extra deep, solid Hard Maple countertop. Hard Maple is a domestic hardwood and is even harder than Oak! We also made the cabinet as deep as we could fit in this space, this not only gave the clients way more countertop space but also made all the drawers deeper. We used Baltic Birch plywood, which is known as some of the best plywood in the world and puts most cabinet grade plywoods to shame with it’s strength and stability. You can see other features here include a pull out spice rack and a toe kick drawer, as well as an access panel at the back of the dishwasher.
