Miller Made Woodworking offers solid hardwood custom fine furniture and woodworking in the greater North Georgia Area. All of our products are handcrafted in Dahlonega, Georgia by owner and operator Trevor Miller. We uphold old-fashioned values like a high standard for the quality of our work and treating our customers with care and respect. This means no shortcuts and no exceptions in our craftsmanship. We strive to be easy to contact, clear, and honest.

All of our furniture is made of solid hardwoods and our cabinetry is made with Baltic Birch or the highest grade plywood available. Our furniture is finished with a clear high-end hard-wax oil finish to preserve and enhance the natural look and feel of the wood while also protecting and sealing the wood. Using traditional wood joinery and cabinetry methods and the highest quality of materials, our furniture is built to last for generations to come. We do not use any particle board, press board or any of the cheap “wood alternatives” that you get from large companies and furniture stores.

Miller Made may be just a local small business but we hope to become your go-to for all of your woodworking and furniture needs, again and again! Thank you and God bless.

About Owner

Hey y’all, my name is Trevor Miller, I own and operate Miller Made Woodworking LLC. I grew up in a small town of about 900 people around Port St. Joe, Florida. My great-grandfather, William Miller, was a craftsman and a carpenter throughout his life. He taught my grandfather, Bill Miller, who taught my father, Adam Miller. They’ve both been carpenters throughout their lives building homes, furniture, cabinets, and all sorts of things. I learned carpentry on the job from both my dad and granddad.

I grew up on job sites, becoming familiar with tools and working environments from a young age. Throughout my childhood I spent a lot of time around my family of builders, makers, and small-business owners. Growing up in this kind of environment, I learned not only how to build but also how to uphold the value and dignity of my craft. This is where I learned the phrase from my dad, “If something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.” He taught me to resist the temptation to cut corners or give anything less than all I’ve got to each project.

When I was 19, I became a Full-Time Catholic Missionary. I served in Georgia and the country of Haiti while visiting a few other countries. During this time I directed youth ministry, coordinated and led work projects, and walked with many people to our Lord, Jesus. As a missionary, I met a girl named Reya (who I would eventually marry) and we started dating, then after years of mission work I moved to Colorado to be closer to her. It was while building furniture for Reya’s house that I remembered my love for carpentry and decided to build a business as a professional carpenter/woodworker. After my wife and I got married in 2022, we returned to the North Georgia mountains where we had first met and were blessed with our first child, our son William, in March of 2024. As I update this our second child is due Aug 2 2025 so please keep my wife and our new baby in your prayers. I’ve continued to pursue my passion for woodworking here in Dahlonega and all around North Georgia.

I’m a simple man— I work with my hands. I enjoy making people's ideas come to life. I love the simplicity. I love the tradition. While serving in Haiti, my “Haitian name” was Travayè, which means Worker and that’s what I am. I hold an old-fashioned belief that a man should identify with his work and I take this attitude into each project that I build, putting quality first. Thank you for visiting my website and for your interest in my work, I look forward to building your next project for you!
